Fun game, cool idea and nice execution! I also had a little bit of a hard time getting used to the controls, but agree with the other commenter that the mechanic is quite fun and unique. I enjoyed playing it and the music is also very cool :)
After I figured out the controls, this game was pretty damn fun, the art is good and core gimmick is unique, if you're into hard platformers, definitely check this one out.
There's not a lot I can critique the game for, though I can point out the game sort of freezes for a quick second when switching modes.
Yes the freezing is unfortunate... In future games I will definitely allow reconfigurable controls since everyone has a preference. Thanks for the feedback though!
hey sorry that you don't like the controls. I chose J because I knew it would be impossible for one hand to control all the movement (especially in some cases where you need to press multiple keys at once). I just uploaded a short video on the page where I beat the game in about 4 minutes. (my 11 year old brother also beat it in like 25 minutes)
Anyway thanks for the feedback and I might add some revisions to make it easier.

i used autohotkey to rebind j to c and finished it fine one handed
hmm interesting... I'll be releasing the updated version very soon with re-bindable keys
